training services to its members through our partnership with

Ashley's F.A.M.I.L.Y. Fitness.

  • Classes will have a fee associated based on the type of class and audience​.

  • Ashley's F.A.M.I.L.Y. Fitness accepts insurance benefits for SilverSneakers, Prime, Renew Active, and One Pass for the three 50+ classes.

Class Descriptions & Details

FULL BODY WORKOUT

  • Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength & cardio endurance, range of movement, and activities for daily living.

  • Class format will have a warm-up, several sets of workouts and a cool down.

  • The workout may be led as an interval or timed circuit and may allow for standing, seated and floor exercises.

  • Light to medium intensity. Low to medium impact. (Medium to high intensity and impact for those who want/need a challenge).

  • Designed for all levels of fitness, including those with limited mobility and those with full range of motion. (Always listen to your body and don’t overdo anything)

 

  • Equipment: Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a bouncy / squeezable ball can be used for resistance; not required.  The participant is responsible for bringing their own equipment to this class.  A chair will be provided for seated or standing support.  Those who wish to do floor exercises for a Core Strength Conditioning set (see details below) can bring a mat; others will do the exercises standing or seated in a chair. ​

  •  Stay hydrated: Bring a bottle of water

  • Core Strength Conditioning Details - This set focuses on improving core strength by working the abdominal, back and gluteal muscles. The goal is to activate, engage, and strengthen core muscles to increase daily endurance, improve posture and prevent injury.

    • Light to medium intensity. Low impact. 

    • Designed for anyone who can easily get up and down from the floor. Modifications from seated and standing positions are also shown.

    • The main movements will use your own body weight to perform balance, stability, isometric exercises and more.

 

​REMINDER:

  • This is not your typical hard-core workout, unless you want the extra challenge. This is a class for all fitness levels and for all ExCEL Members (Seniors 50+ & Terrell ISD Staff Members) to keep you moving and wanting to come back each session.

  • Light to high intensity. Low to high impact.  

  • Designed for anyone who is willing to accept challenges and do exercises that work for them. Exercises are shown with modifications and progressions while reaching all fitness levels. Come together as a group to stay motivated, consistent, determined and ready to conquer your workouts while setting and reaching personal goals.

  • Don’t forget your equipment and water.

  • Fee: $35 per month or Free for some insurance benefit plans

PERSONAL TRAINING

ON-SITE PERSONAL TRAINING

Schedule personal training sessions with Ashley!

Sessions are unique and personalized to each individual and their goals.

Sessions are held in the Fitness Center and will include a consultation, starting measurements (not required) and ending measurements (not required).

All clients will receive high quality instruction and motivating support while performing their customized exercise plan. 

This includes:

  • Learning how to properly utilize the center's machines 

  • Learning how to perform a variety of exercises with other equipment and/or your own body weight (ex. free weights, resistance bands, physio balls, etc..

Availability & Schedule 

  • 30 minute sessions

  • Sessions offered Monday through Saturday

  • Discuss available times and days directly with Ashley

Cost:

  • $40 per Session (1/2 hour) 

  • Packages:

    • 1x per week = $160 per month

    • 2x per week = $320 per month

    • 3x per week = $480 per month 

FITNESS CENTER ACCESS HOURS:

Monday - Sunday: 5:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.

ExCEL Staff may not be present during all hours of accessibility.Use of the fitness center is at the member's discretion.
